High Speed Trains in Ukraine

This car is manufactured by Hyundai-Rotem which is 160 km/h inter-city train sets, 9 car set of total 10 set, 600 passengers in a set. Six of the trains are to be in operation by the time that Ukraine hosts the Euro 2012 football championships.

Ukraine is still one of the world's highest rail users. The total amount of railroad track in Ukraine extends for 22,473 kilometers. This car would initially work services linking Kyiv to Kharkiv in 3½ hours, Lviv in 4½ hours and Donetsk in 5 ½ hours, cutting the current journey times by a third.
The shape looks Korean high-speed train Sanchun, also having outer skirts system in lower level of the train appearance. As aspect of sustain high-speed, the train shape should be round and needs wheel cover for reducing air-resistant when running.
Plymetal AFL100 panel is an aluminum foaming cored with thick aluminum skin both sides. For this projects, Plymetal AFL100 panel were applied for outside skirts of the train. Due to outside environment, Rotem, train manufacturer in Korea, requested to all the product for severe low temperature resistant characteristics, of course, Plymetal AFL100 was passed for such cold-heat recycling test.
