Light-transit in Busan city
Since interior replacement project of 554 cars in Metro in Seoul city, Hongseong Industrial Company has been accomplished various kinds of passenger-transit interior panels developed and applied in many applications in railway cars in a very short periods.
The gently curved ceilings provide an atmosphere that is more comfortable and less industrial. Such shapes and curvatures are derived from streamline shape of the trains. In order to make these, newest manufacturing process needed, of course. Due to our unique technology including bonding technologies, panel fabricating capabilities, this beautiful and lightweight curved top cover was finished well done.
This is also first adopted in Hyundai Rotem motor-car using lightweight honeycomb structure rather than typical 6~8mm aluminum sheet. Traditional top cover weighs 5 times of honeycomb structure in terms of weight. Especially, light-transit like Kimhae Light-transit, has a very important factors in weight matters.
Lightweight gives fuel efficiency and also easy to handle and install. HivetecksⓇ honeycomb panel series are very light and rigid with various finishes; laminates with high pressure deco laminates, ceramic and urethane paints. Curved or some angle panel as well as curved panel can be achieved by our various manufacturing methods as well.
