Korean KTX(high-speed train) Station, Osong Station
Osong Station is a station on the Gyeongbu KTX Line in Cheongwon County, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located at the intersection of the Gyeongbu KTX high speed rail line and the conventional Chungbuk Line.
The second section of the KTX Gyeongbu Line officially opened on November 1st, following a long construction period of six years and seven months. Thanks to the completion of the line, travelers can expect shorter travel times between Seoul and Busan, Seoul and Ulsan, and Seoul and Gyeongju.
Four new stations; Osong, Gimcheon, Singyeongju and Ulsan, have been constructed to accommodate increased traffic between the regions and are set to open in conjunction with the new line. Three of the newly built stations—Gimcheon (Gumi), Singyeongju, and Ulsan—are designed with a number of convenience facilities and tour programs to encourage local tourism.
Hongseong Industrial company has supplied 10mm thickness Hivetecks honeycomb panel to this KTX station, Osong and Ulsan station with its excellent flatness of panel and good reputation in local market.
