Kolon Industries Logistics Center
The distribution center of Kolon Industries in Dongtan, Korea which construction was completed on Dec. 2015 has renown for automated logistics systems and its high-tech performance facility in the Korean domestic market. The center is located adjacent to the the Gyeongbu[Seoul-Busan] expressway which is considered the main logistics passage across the whole country.
The volume of the highway’s traffic is approximately 270,000 cars on a daily basis which fact makes the distribution center an optimal location for its brand advertisement.
The center’s unique exterior makes a strong impression on potential customers who are passing the highway. Since the building have been designed asymmetrically, the shape of its shadows changes according to the position of the Sun which makes the building more eye-catching and outstanding.
Hongseong’s excellent accuracy of the product with lightweightness, rigidity and flatness of the panel made this abnormal case possible. We, Hongseong have supplied ARCHITECKS FR composite panel with PVdF pre-painted skin panel aprox. 21,000m2 to this project.
