The Star Tower, currently named Financial Tower Kangnam, building has largest office spaces in Korea which is 212,300m2 of total building spaces with 46 floors.
ArchitecksⓇ aluminum composite material of 4 mm with standard Beige color were attached inside of the building for a partition of floor to floor engineering utilities, outside covered by glass and aluminum curtain wall.
Approximately, 7,400m2 of ArchitecksⓇ panel was used for this project. Initial stage, this project was designed high level hotel but due to change of the owner, Hyundai Development Ltd to Lonestar Inc, USA, it was completed office area and opened late 2002.
As a fashion of building exterior curtain wall system, when adopting tinted glass and aluminum curtain walling, such system needs coverage of floor to floor engineering utilities. Such coverage structure needs non-structural, thin thickness, free choice to color and lightweight materials like aluminum composite material Architecks.
Also easy fabricated and erect efficiency makes a choice of ArchitecksⓇ 4mm aluminum composite panels for this project. Hongseong Industrial can produce various thickness of the panel 3, 4, and 6mm request on customer's design and application.
