Transformation of Cheonggiwa Gas Station, Hotel L7 Hongdae
Hotel L7 Hongdae is Lotte Hotel's lifestyle hotel brand that developed and opened the site of the "Cheonggiwa Gas Station" that has been in place for about 50 years since the 1960s.
Hotel L7 Hongdae has organized a space with the concept of becoming a playground for people who want to enjoy Hongdae culture by utilizing the locality of Hongdae, where young artists and content creators from various fields such as art, music, and culture exchange. L7 Hongdae is the first hotel where Lotte Hotel consists of a rooftop and an infinity bar in downtown Seoul, with a total of 340 rooms on 22 floors above the ground.
Hongdae, which has emerged as a major tourist attraction for foreigners following Myeong-dong and Dongdaemun, is an area that is easily accessible to foreign tourists as it is connected to the airport railway. Located on the 21st floor of the hotel, the lobby lounge "Blue Roof" is a cultural charging station modeled after a blue flag and gas station, and has the advantage of having a high ceiling and designing a glass window on the slope to view the Mapo-gu area.
